To the best of my knowledge, this great album - Night Train by Buddy Morrow and his Orchestra - was never released as a CD.

I got my copy around 1959 when I joined the Columbia Record Club as a high school freshman. There's no copyright date on the album, but the liner notes reference Buddy Morrow and his band playing in "all 48 states," which means it was written prior to Alaska statehood on Jan. 3, 1959. Consequently, it's at least 50 years old.

Anyhow, I'm pleased to have this old favorite from my early high school years in my iPod at last.

Now, on to other music I haven't heard since I converted to CDs...
