Riding

Just got home from the May meeting of the BMW Riders Association of the Mid-South at Grass Roots BMW Motorcycles in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Grass Roots has become my dealer of choice, even though it's more than two hours away because there is no local dealer and the dealer in Memphis is mostly Yamaha.

There were only a dozen of us there, including Herb and Reno from the dealership, but the barbecue lunch was excellent.

I had about 60 miles of rain in the Missouri bootheel en route, but had a completely dry ride home. Total mileage: something like 250. Not a bad ride for a Saturday in early May.
