Hey, I’m a critic

I’m hanging out with a big coffee at Books-A-Million, having returned a rental DVD to Hastings.

I posted my first Amazon.com Vine Program review today – a brief treatise on a hibiscus-based drink called Ooba. I got my free 16 ounce bottle of the stuff in today’s mail, drank half of it at room temperature and the rest over ice and dashed off my impressions.

I also got a DVD copy of the movie LOOK, an innovative indie flick shot entirely on surveillance cameras. Austin and I watched it this afternoon and were impressed. I want to watch it a second time, with the director’s commentary playing, before I write my review.

I’m a little more than halfway through a Vine Program free book and I’ll probably finish it tomorrow.
