I've agree to teach a multi-session digital photography class for the local senior citizen center and I've been going through our thousands of images looking for pictures that illustrate the various concepts I want to discuss.
Like for instance this shot that Maria took of her niece Sarah. It's a great example of a silhouette created by shooting a subject in shade and exposing for the sky.

You know, if you offered a class to those not as experienced as the senior set, I would pay at least the cost of a fine dinner at A Country A-fair to take it.
What an Awesome opportunity for those in your class.
Thanks!
The trick is going to be figuring out how to keep the more advanced shooters interested while I cover the basics with those who hardly know one end of the camera from the other.
