BMW Motorcycle Rally Pin of the Day

This is the bronze rally pin from the 2002 BMW MOA rally in Trenton, Ontario, Canada. Its design was inspired by the Canadian $1 coin, called a “looney” because it features the image of a loon.

I was there, aboard my 1991 BMW K100RS. The rally site was next to a Royal Canadian Air Force base, so we were treated to frequent flyovers by F/A-18 Hornet fighters.
