We found frost on our car windows this morning for the first time this season. I guess you have to expect that in December.
The only scraper we could lay our hands on was the one in my del Sol. It has a brass blade and made quick work of the ice on the Subaru and the del Sol.
In case you didn’t already know, scrapers with brass blades are the best – way better than plastic blades that chip and get dull. Brass is ideal for the job because it’s softer than glass and can’t scratch it, but chews through ice with ease.
I’ve given up searching for brass bladed scrapers here in northeast Arkansas and suspect my best chance of finding any is online.
