ALMA, Colo. – I thought about going for a ride this morning, but by the time I got motivated, the clouds were building and it looked like a sure thing that there was rain in our future.
So we settled on a short drive in the Jeep down to the South Park Saloon for lunch.
We did our level best to ignore one of the waitresses’ three young children shrieking, stomping around and playing on top of the pool table along with the owner’s penchant for propping the front door open to let the cold air fill the place.
I had my South Park Saloon favorite – the bleu cheese burger and a Fat Tire beer.
