DODGE CITY, Kans. – I’ve waited all my life to use that headline.
It’s still dark. I’ve showered and dressed. I’m sipping coffee and checking the weather and getting ready to pack and load.
But it may be prudent to wait awhile because a big ass cluster of storms swept through here early this morning and is now between me and Wichita, where I plan to pick up the Interstate south to Tulsa.
I think I’ll avail myself of the Comfort Inn’s free continental and watch FOX News for a bit before I saddle up and head east.
