This morning's mail included a ballot to vote for a director at the annual membership meeting of our electrical cooperative.
The accompanying notice was signed "Respectively, J.D. Salmons."
Respectively? Respectively? RESPECTIVELY?
It's RESPECTFULLY, J.D.
The attached ballot had the instructions, "Place an X in the box next to the name."
Guess what. No boxes.
This is the electric utility whose frequent outages drove me to buy a battery backup for my desktop computer this week.
About the best thing I can say about them is the electricity is way cheaper here than in Indiana. But of course, Cap and Tax will fix that.
