Morgan’s big sweet tempered bulldog Samantha has come to stay with us for a week.
Jack and Dora love Sam and wear her out with their energetic play, so she likes to find a quilt to doze on whenever she can escape the Aussies.
One of our neighbors is clearing out the home of her late mother and called Maria yesterday evening to ask if Maria would be interested in her mom’s quilting fabric stash.
Of course she is.
The neighbor came by and picked Maria up this afternoon and they returned about 90 minutes later with several boxes and bins of fabric, notions, patterns and other stuff. Maria, as you might suppose, is enormously grateful and promised to make a quilt from the materials to donate to their church’s fund raiser later this year.
