We stopped at Lowe’s on the way home from the Memphis Airport yesterday and bought one of these 17 cubic foot dump carts.
I spent a couple of hours in the afternoon assembling it and was pleased to find it’s even better at hauling tree debris than I had hoped.
Steve was a huge help on Saturday morning, chainsawing and helping to haul debris to the growing brush pile in front of our house. Now that it’s just Maria and me, the daunting task of clearing our yard of the Jan. 27 ice storm debris seems much more do-able now that we have the cart to pull behind the lawn tractor.
Maybe I’ll paint it John Deere green after it accumulates some scrapes and scratches.
