It's amusing to see people here freaking out over the cold. Got down to about 17 this morning - no big deal for Hoosiers, but a terrible crisis for Arkies.
It got down to 2 degrees back home in Indiana.
But the folks down here may have the last laugh this summer when the temperatures soar into the triple digits for several days in a row.
Maybe so, maybe not. After all, I've seen heat - rode across the Mojave Desert in mid-July a few years ago.
