We did some useful yard work at Morgan's house this morning, despite rapidly rising temperatures.
The shrubbery in front of her house was chest-high - high enough to conceal a lurking intruder - so we attacked it with our electric hedge trimmer and then with chainsaws, taking it down to about 24 inches.
Then I chainsawed a bunch of tree limbs in her back yard that were menacing her fence. It was hot, hard work, but we were persistent and got it done by 11 a.m.
