The Brookland Post Office is getting a new roof. The roofing crew tore off the old shingles yesterday and laid down this moisture barrier.
I expect it will look quite difference next time I visit.

It's crazy how much difference a new roof can make to a building’s appearance. I used to be in the roofing industry and we worked on commercial buildings a lot. Sometimes a new roof is all it takes to transform the image of a building. Hopefully, they've got a good team of professionals on the task!
