This is Chewy, a puppy up for adoption at the Jonesboro Animal Control Shelter. He’s listed online here as a border collie-German shepherd mix, but he sure looks like an Australian shepherd to me. He’s a dead ringer for Pete when he was that age.
I don’t dare go look at him, because I don’t think I could resist bringing him home. But if push comes to shove and nobody adopts him and the shelter management considers putting him down, we’ll rescue the little guy and add him to our pack.
