Buca!

orlando buca
We withstood an hour of medium pressure salesmanship this morning and finally persuaded BlueGreen and RCI that we are just not timeshare people and are not giving them more money. They gave us an $80 VISA card and presumably won’t trouble us further.
We promptly applied the $80 to the purchase of two tickets to EPCOT, to be used probably tomorrow.
So after a Denny’s breakfast, I drove Maria to a couple of quilt shops and thence to BMW Motorcycles of Orlando, where I bought a shop t-shirt. Garmin found the quilt stores easily, but failed miserably on the bike shop because it moved two years ago and Garmin failed to update the address.
By then, it was time for a late lunch or an early dinner. On an impulse, I checked to see if there is a Buca di Beppo in Orlando. There is, but Garmin is completely wrong about its location in the sprawling Florida Mall. Fortunately, in the case of the bike shop and Buca, the Garmin listings do include correct phone numbers.
We had the best meal of the trip, including an enormous bowl of tiramisu, and left with a couple of meals’ worth of leftovers that now repose in our condo fridge.
Buca di Beppo is one of our all-time favorite restaurants and we were almost giddy to find one so close.
