I finally got around to checking out the new Seattle Grind cafe in Jonesboro this afternoon.
The mocha frappe is good, not as waxy tasting as the Starbucks mocha frappachino. The ambiance is pleasant and they have free Wifi.
And the background music isn’t annoying. Reminds me a bit of the music selections at Nepenthe in Big Sur.
However, this seems to be a hangout for older women – teachers, I think - who compare notes on how much they got paid for unused sick days. I suppose I wouldn’t have to listen to it if I picked a table near the back.
