My replacement 32GB SSD (solid state drive) arrived in yesterday morning’s mail and I spent the afternoon installing it and loading Windows XP and all of the other software – Goo0gle Chrome, Windows Live Writer, Irfanview, Skype, Sprint SmartView, AVG antivirus, FTWO motorcycle record-keeping, and the open source image editor GIMP – that I need to be fully functional away from home.
I had problems with the previous SSD when I tried to run Photoshop, so maybe GIMP will be a better fit.
