The melting continues. The temperature at 2 p.m. is 33 and U.S. 49 is almost completely clear of ice and snow, noticeably more clear than when I made my earlier post office run about noon.
The roads in our subdivision are a different story and it will be at least another day before I can consider getting my del Sol out.
So I’ll just stay put and work on our taxes, since I finally have all of the documents I need to fire up the tax software and put this annual chore behind me. I’ve used H&R Block’s TaxCut for a decade or so. This year, they’re renamed it H&R Block At Home. Whatever. It looks the same to me.
