The grass is cut

I am no longer embarrassed by my lawn.

I got out on the mower about 10 a.m. before the temperature broke into the 90s and cut the grass. All of the grass.

Some of it was still sufficiently damp with dew that it tried to clog the mower, but I soldiered on. I finished about 12:30 p.m. By that time, the temperature was 92 and the heat index was 99.

So there.
