Bride of Frankenstein? I found this in my archive of negatives from my newspaper days. This woman was working on a community quilt to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial in 1976. The completed quilt now hangs in the rotunda of a courthouse. Nice hair. Nice scarf. How very '70s.

Look like "scary hair!" Didn't they find bees in some of those hairstyles?
Yeah. And cockroaches. I'm sure this woman would be mortified to see this photo today. Hard to believe she actually went out in public looking like that.
