John from the local John Deere dealership showed up about 1:45 p.m. to pick up our John Deere LA125 lawn tractor/mower for its spring service.
The “needs service” message started blinking on the LCD display the last time I mowed last fall, so the timing is right. And I’m delighted that Greenway Equipment has free pickup and delivery. It would be a huge hassle for us to haul the thing down to the dealer and retrieve it every year.
Minutes after he left, I got a call from our veterinarian asking me to bring Pete in for another blood draw. He said Pete tested positive for heart worms today. He used a second test and it came back negative, causing him to think it was likely a false positive. Nevertheless, he wants to be sure so he’s going to send the blood sample off to a lab to have a definitive test done. So Pete gets to return to the vet’s office tomorrow morning. I’m sure he’ll be delighted.
