I presented myself at St. Bernards Imaging Center at 7 a.m. today for an abdominal ultrasound to let my doctor have a look at my suspiciously behaving gallbladder. It took about a half-hour and I get the results sometime early next week.
Now I’m hanging out at Panera, having sprinted across the parking lot in a very cold (43 degrees) rain, where I wolfed down a bowl of oatmeal. It’s been raining like a mofo since about 6 p.m. yesterday. I meant to check the rain gauge when I left home this morning, but was preoccupied and forgot. I’m betting it’s got close to 2” of water in it.
It could be worse. They got snow in northwest Arkansas.
