Being a faithful patron of Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co. in Memphis, I got an emailed certificate for a free birthday lunch a couple of weeks ago, redeemable anytime during July.
Since Maria was off today, we drove to Memphis for lunch.
Here I am with my Wood Oven Planked Salmon – North Atlantic salmon marinated in a soy-pineapple glaze and roasted on a cedar plank and served with roasted asparagus. Also, my Boscos Mug Club mug filled with their very own Midtown Brown.
Maria had one of their Germantown Purist wood-fired oven pizzas – BBQ chicken and shaved red onions with smoked and whole milk mozzarella.
Damned fine lunch.
