The guys at Gateway Tire told Austin they'd jump right on his car service if he brought it in early today.
Maria and I were sitting on the back porch - she enjoying a late 
breakfast and me surfing the Internet - when he made his first appearance of the day about 11:15 a.m.
So I drove down to Gateway Tire to give him a ride home while the worked on his car and found myself sitting in front of the place at noon, waiting for him to make the necessary arrangements.
Naturally, several jobs had jumped in front of his and he will probably not get his car back until tomorrow.
