Stein of the Day

I may have picked this half-liter stein up on Ebay or at a flea market or antique shop in Indianapolis – I can’t recall.

I am also clueless as to what it celebrates. I find no record of a Schwaben-Bayern brewery in Indianapolis, nor can I find anything to indicate there was a German-American club of that name in Indianapolis.

Does anyone know the significance of Schwaben-Bayern Indianapolis?
